Penguin Drive-in Dry Cleaners is owned and operated by the highly experienced Murphy family, who have been cleaning Melbourne's clothes since 1947.

The business cleans most types of garments and materials, including the more difficult types of garments. Penguin is an accredited wedding gown cleaner, and is able to clean leather, suede and even large curtains and wall hangings.

There are three Penguin stores for your convenience: Penguin Dry Cleaners are located at 74 Commercial Place, Eltham; in the Eltham Village Arcade near Coles; and at the drive-in service centre at 221 Bulleen Road, Bulleen.

The business uses modern technology and a large range of different solvents to do the job right. The business boasts a computerised inventory and tracking system, large curtain presses for those big jobs and special shirt pressing machines.

The Eltham Village Arcade business is open from 9.00am to 5.30pm Mondays to Thursday and from 9.00am to 2.00 pm on Saturday.

The Commercial Place business is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Mondays to Thursdays, to 6pm on Fridays and from 7.30am to 4pm on Saturdays. The drive-in service in Bulleen is open from 7am to 7pm Mondays through to Fridays and from 7.30am to 1pm on Saturdays.

For your convenience, EFTPOS facilities are available and Penguin accepts most credit cards. The Eltham Village Store is also set up to do repairs and alterations.
